This past week I have been listening to Fleet Foxes, obsessively. It is funny to think that when I first heard them I didn't like them. I shunned the CD even. Then a few months ago I was talking with a friend, and he encouraged me to give it another chance. So I did. I am so sad that I wasted all this time thinking they were horrible! I haven't listened to the album in a while, and I started playing it again last week and it has been so perfect for my days. Their new album is hopefully coming out soon (the rumor is around Christmas time) so I will definitely be on the lookout for it! Speaking of new albums... anyone pick up the new Sufjan Stevens EP? The highlight of my week! It is so good, and worth the anticipation from the Illinois album.
Haha, I know what you mean! I always feel both so silly for wasting that good listening time, but also so excited that I've finally come around and discovered some sweet new music.

When I first heard Mike Doughty I told everyone I knew that his voice made me carsick. I just.couldn't. listen to him.
Now I have all his albums.
