I get tons of unsolicited advice on a daily basis. The funny thing is, it's from people that I barely even know and vice versa. I don't understand where this need for telling me their opinions on everything comes from. Seriously, if I had a dollar from all this unsolicited advice, I would be able to retire already! It's not just from the same person either, it's like 90% of the people I talk to. It's hard filtering all these opinions into what I am actually going to take and use, and what I am going to discard later on. I mean, why would I take advice from someone who I hardly even know or have given respect to yet?
